Presented by Magee-Womens Research Institute
Historically, despite comprising more than half the population and giving birth to all of humankind, women have played a secondary role in scientific research. Today, we know that researchers have found sex differences playing out in almost every tissue and organ system in the body, but despite this, women’s health has seen few major breakthroughs in recent decades. With the growth of big data, however, that big breakthrough could be right around the corner. Please join some of the nation’s leading experts as we discuss how data is driving women’s health forward, and the exciting things that lie ahead.
