While improved human health has long been an underlying premise of sustainable building, new standards like WELL center design around the human experience. At this event, we’ll explore industry trends, building standards like Fitwel and RESET, and credits within broader rating systems including LEED, Living Building Challenge, and Passive House.

GBA’s series on Health in the Built Environment will prepare owners and practitioners to build spaces that prioritize occupant health and productivity. The series connects research in neuroscience and cognitive behavior with building design and maintenance, proposing practical solutions to improve tenant well-being.

Presented by Green Building Alliance as a part of Life Science Week 2019. Separate registration is required.
